THE ARTIST BEHIND THE GLASS
Zahra Tootzari is a stained glass artist and architectural glass designer whose work explores the relationship between glass, light and architecture.
With a background in interior design and years of experience working with stained glass, Tiffany glass and fused glass, she creates bespoke pieces that become an integral part of the spaces they inhabit.
Her work ranges from architectural skylights, domes and windows to doors, partitions and decorative glass installations. Each project is developed in response to its architectural setting, balancing artistic expression, craftsmanship and the way natural light moves through space.
Rather than treating glass as decoration alone, Zahra approaches each piece as an architectural element — designed to shape atmosphere, define character and create a lasting dialogue between art and space.
